Carpet installation

The carpet installation is starting in the admin building.

Bike racks

We have two bike racks by the south parking lot. One is near the Gardenside room & admin building. The second one is next to the new restrooms by Stenman.

Parking lot poured

The south parking lot is being poured. Soon it will be striped.

New sign installation

We will have new signs for the front and at both parking lots.

Sidewalks have arrived

Sidewalks are being poured this week. They started pouring mid-day. They started with the sidewalks around the courtyard. They should all be complete by the end of this week.

Preparing for sidewalks

The sidewalks around the courtyard are almost ready to be poured. The rough grading for the courtyard lawn area has been finished. Concrete should be poured the week of 10/13.

Mezzanine steps

This week, the staircase up to the mezzanine was installed. It was fun to be able to walk up those stairs and see the sheetrock that is almost finished in the admin building and imagine working in this new space.

Frame signed off

We now have signoff from the city on all the framing for all the buildings. The insulation and sheetrock is complete in the classroom buildings and has now started in all the other buildings! The progress will go quite quickly now as the interiors begin to take shape.

We can finish the board and batten all around the outside where we have that on the exterior. The prep for stucco comes later in the process.

Classrooms – Tyvek & Insulation

The classroom building is getting closed in, ready for the siding. The cedar soffit has been installed all the way around and the Tyvek is being applied. We received the frame certificate from the city, so we can close in this building.

The elecrical, plumbing, HVAC and sprinkler systems have all been installed.

The insulation is going in today and next week the sheetrock will be installed.

Roofed in

The final portion of the teen center roof is being completed today. There are flat sections of the roof where the heating/air conditioning units will be placed that are not yet roofed in. That work will be completed after those units are lifted up onto the buildings with the crane.
